Huntington Ist XI 113-8
Goole Town II 114-4
A FIVE wicket haul by Jamie Shipp saw Goole Seconds bounce back from their opening day defeat with a six wicket victory.

Huntington opened the batting but struggled and made only 113-8 off their 45 overs, with fine bowling from Goole's attack thwarting their efforts.

Shipp finished with impressive figures of 5-19 off only eight overs, with Scott Thorpe taking the three other wickets for 28 runs off his 11 overs.

Goole's batsman in response knocked off the required runs with seven overs to spare.

Mark Shipp top scored with 68 with further help coming from captain Barry Clements with 13 not out and opener Eddie Oliver with 12.

Goole's next match is away to Yapham 1st XI on Saturday
