Victoria Rangers 8 Rawcliffe United 0
RANGERS were back on league duty last week when they entertained Rawcliffe United at Western Road.

The game started brightly with both teams going close, United having an attempt cleared off the line, but Rangers opened the scoring on ten minutes
when Neil Huntington finished with a quality shot from 16 yards, the second goal came after an Andy Gill cross was powerfully headed home by Jason Gibbon to gvie the Gers a half time lead of 2-0.

The second half continued much the same as the first with Rangers having most of the game and creating numerous chances and it was a fine move by Gill and Matty Whitaker which led to Gibbon finishing for the third goal.

Gill then scored the next two when he firstly rounded the keeper then chipped into an open net after a mix up in the visitors' defence, the sixth goal came when a Tom Bryan long ball found Jason Greaves who laid it off to Gibbon to drill home from 20 yards to complete his hat trick.

A through ball from Simon Gardiner found Gill who crossed for Huntington to make it seven with a simple finish, the final goal was scored by Neil Harrison who volleyed home a Greaves corner.

The Mansfield Brewery man of the match award went to Jason Gibbon.
