Goole CC 2nd XI 160-5
HOME side Yapham batted first during last Saturday's second team match but were dismissed with 159 all out, Goole gaining a five wicket victory with 160-5.

Yapham's best batters were B Pearson (38), J Flint (20), T Walker (23) and N West (35).

Bowling for the visitors was Mark West who took for 55 off 12 overs; Jamie Shipp 3 for 34 off 12; James Kerr 1 for 40 off 10; and Nicky Holah 1 for 16 off 5.

In reply, Neil Webster and Mark Shipp had an opening partnership of 59 before Webster was out for 18. The score went to 76 as Jake Mahoney was out for 3.

Mark Shipp then moved in and top scored 67 with take things to 110 for 3.

Barry Clements came in to bat and took the score to 120 for 4 befor he was out for 3. At 125 for 5 Ben Earl was out of 2.

Jamie Shipp was joined by Steve Foster who completed the innings with Foster 39 not out and Shipp 13 not out.

Wicket takers for Yapham were J Flint 1 for 35 off 1; T Walker 1 for 36 off 12; R Walker 1 for 30 off 11; N West 2 for 22 off 6.

Goole 2nd XI are at home this Saturday to Driffield 3rds.
