New veterans’ cup launched

The North Riding County FA is launching a brand new cup competition for players over 35 in a bid to encourage older footballers back into the game. Entry is free for affiliated clubs and forms/rules can be downloaded at www.northridingfa.com

County development manager Steven Wade said: “We saw an opportunity to prolong the competitive playing life of footballers throughout the county who may have been considered too long in the tooth to continue week in, week out, at other sides.”
