Rampant Celtic hit seven past rivals Inn to claim second victory

HATFIELD Celtic romped to a comprehensive 7-0 win over Doncaster Sunday Alliance League Premier Division rivals Stag Inn.

Celtic are mid-table after four outings following, having accrued six points out of a possible 12.

Last season’s Championship champions Canal Tavern posted a 6-4 win over FC Dunscroft.

Rhino’s beat fifth-placed Social Bar 3-2.

Defending champions Athletico Tap Maker claimed a 4-2 away victory at last season’s KO Cup winners Sprotbrough to maintain their three point lead at the top.

Hawthorn beat visiting Toll Bar 4-2 in their Championship clash.

Finningley Athletic collected a 4-2 win at Sportsman Inter Stella. Stainforth lost 2-0 at home to Wheatsheaf.

Windmill edged a 4-3 win over Wheatley Hotel.

Armthorpe Albion dished out a 3-1 Division One beating to South Kirby Reds. Leger Lions were tamed by Balby Academy of Sport, who ran out 3-0 winners.

Rosehill Press notched a 2-1 win over Askern Railway. Tap Maker beat Auckley by the odd goal in seven.

Three Horseshoes United collected a 4-1 win over visiting FC Gateshouse. Tank charged to a 5-0 win at Wadworth Sports.

Bessacarr and Armthorpe Village battled out a 1-1 Divsion Two draw.

Carcroft Village scored the only goal of the game when beating Hatfield Town 1-0. Rossington Legion ran up the highest score of the day - an 11-0 win at Hatfield Woodhouse.

White Hart Colts, 2-0 winners over Maltings, had to work much harder for the three points.

FC Cumberland lost 2-1 at Rossington United.
