TOWN recovered from the setback of a midweek defeat to emphatically dispel Yorkshire Amateurs last Saturday.
The 4-2 reverse to local rivals Pontefract four days prior meant boss Ian Dring made wholesale changes to the side, with the decision paying off in style.

Selby took control with three first-half goals. The first from Danny Gray came after he latched onto a loose ball inside a crowded area before blasting home from close range.
Two minutes later and Josh O’Neill (pictured) coolly slotted home before Jack Wooley added to the rout just before the break.
With a three-goal cushion, the Robins were in cruise control and Dring’s newly assembled backline were coping well.
With ten minutes left Gray broke through and majestically chipped the keeper from the edge of the area to extend the lead to four goals before a consolation goal later by Hilton was scant reward for Amateurs.
Town are now 11 points behind Yorkshire with four games in hand.
TOWN: Smith, Wolski, Redfern, Snaith, Dickman, Jones, Kamara, O’Neill(c), Gray, Wooley (Lovell 81), Hall.
Subs not used; Spratt, Dring, O’Reilly, Barnes.
